January 5, 2007

According to a posting on DESTRUCTION's official web site, veteran San Francisco Bay Area thrashers SADUS have dropped off the upcoming "Thrash Till Death Over North America" tour featuring DESTRUCTION, MUNICIPAL WASTE and HIRAX. "We are still waiting for an official statement from the band and the booking agent Thunderdome Promotion," reads a posting on the site. "Nevertheless, a more-than-equivalent replacement, the Canadian progressive death shooting stars INTO ETERNITY, have already completed the top-class billing again!"

SADUS' latest album, entitled "Out for Blood", was issued in North America in May 2006 via The End Records (February 2006 in Europe through Mascot Records). The follow-up to 1997's "Elements of Anger" was recorded at Trident Studios in California with producer Børge Finstad (MAYHEM, BORKNAGAR, VINTERSORG, EXTOL),engineer Juan Urteaga and manager Rob Lewis, and features a guest appearance on one track by TESTAMENT frontman Chuck Billy.

INTO ETERNITY has had a phenomenal year in 2006 that saw the release of a new album, "The Scattering of Ashes", which continues to be hailed by critics and fans alike as a metal masterpiece, and a high-profile run on Gigantour alongside such genre titans as MEGADETH, LAMB OF GOD and OPETH. They emerged as one of the fest's most talked about acts and quickly developed a die-hard legion of fans along the way.
